Purchased for $525,000 earlier in the year, the chestnut daughter of City Zip is out of a Canadian stakes winning mare and will be making her career debut. She has been training steadily at Woodbine and will compete with Lasix in her first start. Patrick Husbands will be aboard and they will break from post position five.

Get'erdonebud getting a class test after maiden win

Second choice at 3-1 on the morning line is Get’erdonebud for trainer John Ross. A chestnut son of Kentucky Bear, he broke his maiden in his career debut last time out in May by three-lengths over two rivals and will be stepping up to stakes competition for the first time. Tyler Pizarro, the jockey who piloted him to his first win, will be back in the irons and they are scheduled to break from the inside post.

Beliveau looms as a contender for Mark Casse

Also in the field at morning line odds of 7-2 is Beliveau who also comes out of the Mark Casse barn. A gelded son of Where’s the Ring, the dark bay gelding delivered as the favorite in his career debut with an open-length victory over a field of nine rivals. He has been training steadily since that winning effort and will have Patrick Husbands back aboard as he goes for his second straight win. They will break from post seven.
