On Sunday at Belmont Park, the featured race is the $200,000 Miss Grillo Stakes. Restricted to two-year-old fillies, the Grade 3 event will be contested at a mile and a sixteenth on the turf and has drawn a field of eleven.

Llanita (GB) has been tabbed as the morning line favorite in the wide open field at odds of 5-2 for trainer Chad Brown. A bay daughter of Rock of Gibralter (GB), she is making her first North American start and will be trying to break her maiden against graded stakes competition. She was second in two of her three starts in France. Irad Ortiz, Jr. will be aboard and they are scheduled to break from post position three. She will also compete with Lasix for the first time.

Belvoir Bay (GB) looking for third career victory

Second choice at morning line odds of 3-1 is Belvoir Bay (GB) for trainer Richard Hannon. A bay daughter of Equiano (FR), she has won two of her five starts and is another filly who will be making her first start in the United States. She was last seen finishing fourth at Goodwood in August. Jose Lezcano will be in the irons and they will break from post position six. She is the only filly in the race competing medication-free.

Well-bred Thrilled seeking first stakes win

Also in the field at morning line odds of 5-1 is Thrilled for trainer Todd Pletcher. A bay daughter of Uncle Mo, she is out of the graded stakes winning mare Excited who was also campaigned by owner and breeder Michael Tabor. She has one win from two career starts and will be trying for her first black type victory. She was second in the P.G. Johnson Stakes last time out and is scheduled to break from post seven under John Velazquez.
