On Saturday at Santa Anita, the track will host the $200,000 Santa Ynez Stakes. Restricted to newly-turned three-year-old fillies, the Grade 2 event will be run at six and a half furlongs and has drawn a field of seven.

Pretty N Cool tops the field as the morning line favorite at odds of 5-2 and is one of three fillies in the race for trainer Bob Baffert. A gray daughter of Scat Daddy, she has won three of her six starts and was a multiple graded stakes winner as a juvenile. She is trying to return to form after two average performances and will cut back to a sprint after going two turns in the Starlet Stakes (G1). Martin Garcia will be aboard and they will break from post position six.

Forever Darling back after Breeders' Cup

Second choice at morning line odds of 7-2 is Forever Darling for trainer Richard Baltas. A chestnut daughter of Congrats, she will be trying to earn her first graded stakes victory and the second win of her career. After a fourth-place finish in her debut, she came back to break her maiden in September at Santa Anita. She was eighth in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1) last time out and will break from the outside post under jockey Rafael Bejarano.

Decked Out trying for first stakes win

Also in the field at morning line odds of 6-1 is Decked Out for trainer Keith Desormeaux. A chestnut daughter of Street Boss, she was purchased for $65,000 as a yearling and has been on the board in three of her five starts with one win. She is trying to move forward after finishing fifth in the Pocahontas Stakes (G2) and has been training steadily since then. Kent Desormeaux will be aboard and they will break from post positon  three.
