Stonetastic headlines the wide open and competitive field as the morning line favorite at odds of 5-2 for trainer Kelly Breen. A four-year-old daughter of Mizzen Mast, she has been on the board in seven of her ten starts and was a graded stakes winner at Saratoga as a sophomore. She has been on the shelf since a seventh-place finish in the La Brea Stakes (G1) in December at Santa Anita and has had four consecutive bullet workouts. Paco Lopez will be aboard from post position three.
Sweet Basil going for second career stakes win
Second choice at 7-2 on the morning line is Sweet Basil for trainer Ralph Nicks. A four-year-old daughter of Pulpit, she has won three of her nine starts and earned the first black-type victory of her career two starts back. Last time out, she was fourth in the Princess Rooney Stakes (G2) at Gulfstream Park. Corey Lanerie will be in the irons and they are scheduled to break from post position two.
Wavell Avenue trying for first stakes score
Also in the field at morning line odds of 4-1 is Wavell Avenue for trainer Chad Brown. A four-year-old daughter of Harlington, she has won four of her nine starts and will be trying to earn the first stakes victory of her career. She was third in her stakes debut last time out in the ungraded Zadracarta Stakes at Woodbine. Joel Rosario will be aboard and they will break from post position six.
