Stakes action begins early New Year’s Eve at Fair Grounds with the $90,000 Louisiana Futurity scheduled for race 1, and a field of seven two year-old fillies set to contest the six furlong event on dirt.

After a two year hiatus, the Tropical Park Derby returns to Gulfstream Park Saturday, December 20 with a full field of 14 plus two on the also eligible list set to go the mile and one sixteenth journey on the grass.

The $100,000 Millions Turf Preview Saturday, November 8 at Gulfstream West features a field of eight going a mile and one sixteenth on the grass – a prep race for the Sunshine Millions Turf held in January.

Del Mar will debut its inaugural Bing Crosby Season on Friday and the featured race is the $75,000 Kathryn Crosby Stakes. The race will be contested at one mile on the turf and has attracted a full field of twelve fillies and mares with two additional on the also-eligible list.
